Lovable slides into my DM

"SaaS is dead", we're told

I heard about this as “internal SaaS replacement” back in September last year when Elena, Head of Growth at Lovable, spoke of it as one of the key use cases they'd identified internally.

So in Feb, as we were starting to prep to teach Lovable to our students as part of the collab we secured, I asked myself, “Why can’t we just replace our expensive time tracking app with our own?”

Lo and behold. I post this Tweet about what Ananya built in one day with Lovable. CEO likes the post:

Next thing that happens is the official Lovable account DMs me to use my post as an Ad for Lovable!! (I'll let you know when it goes live)

So what?

It's clear we need fewer people and more AI agents. So what does this mean DirectEd?

It's great for us.

The leverage and value of the top 0.1% goes up. But who is a top 0.1% with a safe future?
