• COTI network will be supporting and naming our first scholarship cohort, which will be the first on-chain scholarship for coding that uses an identity-aware smart contract for the distribution of scholarship funds!

  • Our CEO Simon participated in the Cardano Summit 2022 main event where he was able to network and present about DirectEd

• Kagumo High visit
  • Simon and Moses went together with Sally, Tabita and Michael from Lido Nation to visit Kagumo High school. Students wrote background stories for the "Lion Heroes" digital art collection. We also trialled a battery of psychometric tests, and our Cardano wallet onboarding process. You can listen to Simon's speech to the students on YouTube: Video link

  • Our Ethiopia Lead Fasika visited Kotebe High school to interview students in order to better understand the accessibility barriers the students are facing

• New Advisor Izzat-Begum B. Rajan
  • Izzat-Begum combines almost 25 years of experience in tax-efficient legal structuring and large tax dispute management. She offers a unique blend of skills to handle legal, tax, and financial matters as she built her career in multinationals and consulting firms and developed a strong knowledge of impact projects and social enterprises. Since 2005, Izzat-Begum has continuously held various C-suite and Board roles both for large multinationals and start-ups. Today, she is an advisor (providing Legal and Tax oversight) sitting on boards of a wide range of companies operating in the technological space.
