Fellow dreamers,

Trump’s wind-down of USAID affected us. One day, we were shortlisted for 6-figure delivery contract, the other day, the YALI offices were closed. Alas, such is life, but the show must go on.

And indeed the show went on. Initially, I intended to fundraise but I quickly reprioritised in light of the needs of the African Blockchain Championship:

3000 registered, 25+ in-person workshops, 6 countries with an kick-off weekend, UNDP AltFinLab partnership and industry partners with a market cap exceeding $30 billion!

Delighting customers = first priority!

• $200k in annual revenue (5x year-on-year growth) reached in April (we’re profitable!)

• Investors: 2 checks in the bank (May). 4 committed.

• TechUK contract signed: soon accredited partner of UK’s tech industry employer organization.
