Role Overview

As a Teacher’s Assistant (TA), you will play a crucial role in supporting students as they progress through the Generative AI curriculum. Your responsibilities will include answering student questions, monitoring progress, facilitating discussions, providing technical support, and ensuring the quality of learning materials. You will also collaborate with the Head of Curriculum to refine course content and improve the learning experience.

A strong background in tutoring or mentoring students in technical subjects is highly desirable, as this role involves guiding learners through complex AI concepts and coding challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to students, assisting with AI development environments, device setup, and troubleshooting.
• Facilitate group discussions and live problem-solving sessions to enhance understanding of AI concepts.
• Tutor students in Generative AI and programming topics, offering one-on-one and group support to reinforce learning.
• Develop and refine course materials, including creating assessments, exercises, and interactive learning activities.
• Grade assignments and provide constructive feedback to help students improve.
• Communicate student progress to both learners and the Head of Curriculum.
• Organize and lead workshops to reinforce AI concepts and real-world applications.
• Ensure a high-quality learning experience by identifying and fixing typos, broken links, and inconsistencies in course materials.
• Manage student concerns, ensuring that complaints are addressed promptly.
• Foster an engaging learning environment through Kahoot quizzes and interactive activities.
• Run and prepare bi-weekly exams, ensuring fair and structured assessments.
• Prepare weekly Kahoots to reinforce learning and keep students engaged.
• Post Kahoot results every week for student review.
